Fabricated Cases
Fabricated Cases provide the ultimate in flexibility, particularly when finding a perfect size match is a challenge. Exterior panels are built with strong, solid components, and interiors are custom designed with precision sculpted foam of various densities depending upon product requirements. Case cavities are typically formed either by foam lined hard partitions
or by water jet when extreme detail and lower weight requirements. They provide maximum shock absorption and safety from damage due to vibration and the result is uncompromising fit and maximum protection.
...more about fabricated constructions
There are primarily 2 kinds of fabricated cases. The first is a 1 split rivet construction using pneumatically machine driven steel split rivets. The second is basically a tongue and groove configeration that consists of 2 double angles. Both constructions use aluminum edging, zinc plated steel corners, latches and handles and tongue-in-groove valance extrusions are precisely machined as a matched set for every case. This insures a perfect fit where the lid meets the base. Steel pop-rivets are standard in certain areas where pop-rivets must be used. All hinged lid cases use heavy-duty steel full-length piano hinges. Most are designed to meet or exceed the Air Transportation Association (ATA) specification 300, Category 1, and constructed to perform under the most exacting conditions. Fabricated ATA cases provide unsurpassed function and reliability. Ask Us How We Can Customize Your Fabricated Case!
