Features Sylphit SKP models (available with either 15-inch or 17-inch displays) offering local, rack-mounted console access for multiple servers at the rack, and remote IP access over LAN, WAN or Internet, are a powerful KVM over IP console/switch solution utilizing innovative CAT 5 connectivity.

The bundled Smart 116 IP KVM switch gets rack-mounted behind Sylphit, utilizing available depth-space in the rack without occupying any additional rack space.

The bundled Smart 116 IP switch supports controlling up to 16 multi-platform computers (PS/2, USB, Sun) from the Sylphit console. Additional units may be cascaded to support up to 256 mixed-platform servers.

CAT5 "Dongles" (ROCs and RICCs) are used to connect the switch to servers up to 33 feet away, eliminating cable clutter.

Sylphit SKP ships with a bundled Smart 116 IP, adding features such as a powerful on-screen display (OSD) system provides the user with easy control and management, including server naming and selecting; optional password-protected access with three (3) access-levels for administrator, supervisor, and users; and auto-scan mode for automatic monitoring of attached servers.
